1. "1984" - Cristina C. wants it, she loves the rats in the cage torture method and wants to see how it's done properly.
I want:
2. "Baudolino" (who's the bastard keeping it?!)
3. "Michael Moore: Stupid White Men and other ...." because I can't get enough of american socialist propaganda.

This is so unfair for the Romanian bookaholics who read your blog :(

@dor : done - only one of murakami's books is in english :(
@shu : done - How about "Endurance" - It will leave you saying "wow, the ppl today are wusses"
@ionuca: come to singapore and i'll give all the romanian books to you :))
May I have Lolita please?
Thanks
@Andreea: Sure! Done! Are you sure you don't want the photography guide as well?
Nice books! I would take Jurnalul fericirii if I would be around. :P I actually brought the book to US but then I gave it somebody and didn't get it back. I still want to finish reading it someday. :-)
@RME : yeah I know .. I am also not done with it, but by the looks of it I will get my chance :) the romanian readers do not seem to be that into reading actually :))
oh my claud! you diligently have a website of all your books 0_o <- (wide-eyed face with a straight line mouth.) how can you bear parting with them! (k i'm sure that didn't help at all sorry...)
ELY!! You are right! It's very hard! Right now I am holding one and thinking oh noes, but I can't let THIS ONE go! and then i pick another one up and I start again :) That being said, I will buy them all over again once i settle somewhere for good ...
Dear Ang Moh,
I would like:
Alfred Lansing -- Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage
Kazuo Ishiguro - Remains of the Day
Jon E. Lewis -- The Mammoth Book of Climbing Adventures
John Gribbin -- The Scientists: A History of Science Told Through the Lives of Its Greatest Inventors
And "What The Dog Saw" by Malcolm Gladwell. Is it still with you?
Seeing and reading these books will remind me of you.
Jensen you are not going to believe it but! I did bring Endurance and What the Dog Saw - just for you :) without reading this :)) I also brought The World Without Us. Will bring the others on Monday.
Maybe I will have a look at the photography guide as well. See you when you come back. Have fun!
