Stupid

Because protein enhances muscle and tissue regeneration and because well, i still am injured, and because well, milk has a high content of protein (9.3 g per 250ml serving) here am I drinking, yuck, milk. I am a bit sick of it already since I drank about 750 ml in 20 minutes or so. I wonder what milk + watermelon + apple + 2 pineapple + 1 papaya will do to my stomach. Oh, and one spicy tom yam soup as well! Suddenly I am not feeling so super smart... Stand by for updates!

yah milk is disgusting. i am going to dispense some comments now about milk since i drink lotsa milk too for regeneration!

i drink soya bean as i hate milk like you. if you can stand it, go for the low fat one. i recently checked my blood and my bad cholesterol level is borderline high...i suspect is due to the milk

you can try yogurt drinks too. although they got less protein per mg, they have less fat or no fat at all. and they taste better...especially the nestle ones

or you can buy the meiji coffee milk! muahhaa. it is awesome. it comes in a translucent white bottle with pale brown cap on it. costs slightly less than 3 bucks at NTUC fairprice in clementi (located in an isolated fridge along with other meiji milks). but again, milk will give u high cholesterol i think..

adrian! I also drink meiji low fat milk ... less protein but also less fat and more importantly, less milk taste, yuck, and smell, double yuck. I don't like soy bean milk because it is very very sweet. I haven't found one that I like except the ones they sell in thailand and msia (in the glass bottles, the ones that kesheng always drinks). Any suggestions for less sweet soy milk?

haha hmm can't help u out there. if it helps, the nutrisoy has a less sweet version of soy milk that comes in a light blue package (vis-a-vis their normal deep blue packaged soya milk). haha i like my soya milk to be sweet!

Gri, to each of us our own :) for me it's the other way around, I only drink my coffee with maybe a teaspoon of milk. As for lattes ... those are for sissies!

yay milk-drinkers congregate! (i lag)

should ask CM and yixiong (avid avid milk drinkers) to share their experiences too. they usually do HL strawberry milk right after meals... (and sulk when its not available haha!)

i drink 1) the light blue reduced sugar nutrisoy (know for a fact johntron does too hehe) but it's still quite sweet leh & 2) raffles hall breakfast's "soya milk w/o sugar" one tumbler every AM gawsh i do hope it's not doing anytg detrimental cos im gulping it down in pretty large amts - claud if u want and are coming down to sch in the AMs can ask me help u take too. SUPER NOT SWEET u may like ;)

Soy protein is inferior to cow's milk protein. Doesn't promote tissue building as well simply because it came from a veggie. So stick to the cow's udder.
